Prompt
Add `Bash(ls:*)`, `Bash(rg:*)`, `Bash(git status:*)` etc to settings — the agent stops asking permission for safe inspection. Default permissions ask before every Bash call. After a week you'll know which commands you always approve (read-only stuff: ls, cat, grep/rg, git status, git diff, jq). Pre-approve them in settings and you save dozens of clicks per session. Keep destructive commands (rm, git push --force, anything write) gated. Implementation example: // .claude/settings.json { "permissions": { "allow": [ "Bash(ls:*)", "Bash(rg:*)", "Bash(git status:*)", "Bash(git diff:*)", "Bash(git log:*)", "Bash(jq:*)", "Bash(pnpm test:*)" ] } }
