Prompt
Don't just toggle YOLO mode — write a scoped prompt that whitelists tests and builds, deny destructive commands. Auto-runs without prompts. Cursor pauses for permission on every test or build, killing the build-fix-build loop. YOLO mode lets the agent execute autonomously, but plain YOLO is too permissive. Settings → Features → YOLO mode has a prompt field where you scope which commands are auto-allowed. Add a deny list for `rm -rf` and migrations to keep it safe. Implementation example: // In Cursor: Settings → Features → YOLO mode // (the scoped prompt field) "any kind of tests are always allowed like vitest, npm test, nr test, etc. also basic build commands like build, tsc, etc. creating files and making directories (like touch, mkdir, etc) is always ok too" // Deny list: rm -rf, db migrations, anything destructive
