Prompt

Drop `.wav` files into `~/.claude/hooks/` and let Claude wire up SessionStart/Notification/Stop hooks so you don't hover over the terminal. Long-running tasks burn time when you alt-tab away and check back too late. Sound cues for SessionStart, UserPromptSubmit, Notification, and Stop fix it. Drop your `.wav` files in `~/.claude/hooks/` and ask Claude to configure the hooks — it edits `settings.json` for you. Anthropic engineer Delba famously uses Warcraft peon sounds. Implementation example: # Drop your sound files first: ~/.claude/hooks/session-start.wav ~/.claude/hooks/notification.wav ~/.claude/hooks/stop.wav # Then in any session: "Set up Claude Code hooks to play sounds on SessionStart, UserPromptSubmit, Notification, and Stop. Use the .wav files in ~/.claude/hooks/."
